4th Widget Competition – and win an ipad!!! Calling all software designers and developers – the 4th widget/small application design competition has started. The competition runs in 2 stages. The first is to submit a description and specification for your widget/application. It may be a completely new application or an enhancement to an existing one. If it is approved (and most usually are) then you have until 7th October to develop it. Entry numbers are low and there are usually several prizes so its worth having a go. There is substantial support available to developers from the ROLE team. The project uses opensocial software and all existing codes and software will be made available to entrants on request. You can read more about competition entry on http://www.role-project.eu/WidgetCompetition
