Capita’s customer management’s business has been awarded the British Institute for Learning and Development quality mark.

Capita’s customer management’s business has been awarded the British Institute for Learning and Development Quality Mark.

The mark demonstrates the businesses adherence to best practice, creating a distinction between it and its competitors. Assessors found that Capita customer management delivered training, learning and development and education to a very high standard. In addition the British Institute for Learning and Development were so impressed that they have asked the business to become an exemplar site, sharing its expert knowledge.

The quality mark is awarded for three years with an annual review/assessment.

Andy Roe, chief operating officer for Capita’s customer management business, said: “This achievement clearly demonstrates our commitment to quality and shows customers and clients of the high standard of products and service they can expect when they engage with Capita’s customer management business.

“People are our biggest asset and we recognise the importance of developing the talent we have in-house. Working for us is not just about a job – it’s about a career and the quality mark demonstrates we have the tools in place to help colleagues achieve their ambitions.”

Rich Wootten, spokesman for the British Institute for Learning and Development said: “Holders of the BILD Quality Mark demonstrate not only a commitment to quality but that they can and do deliver high quality learning and development. The assessment of Capita customer management was of an exceptionally high standard, which is why The BILD will be working with Capita to develop an exemplar site, we are very excited to have capita customer management as part of the BILD Quality Mark program”.
